The Earth is a dynamic planet, processes above and below the Earth’s surface interact to continually modify the geography of the Earth’s surface. Over billions of years landmasses have moved together and apart, oceans have been created and lost and all of this movement has left a trail which we can explore today to better understand our joint geological heritage.
