Have you ever looked out of the window and wondered why the natural landscape looks the way it does? Well now is your chance to answer that question as the Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust together with the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland are running a series of FREE workshops to help local people and community groups to understand and virtually explore the natural landscapes of the area.

In this engaging and light-hearted series of workshops you can find out how the landscapes formed and what they can tell us about the environments of our long and distant past of the region, ranging from fiery volcanoes, to tropical seas, and from searing hot deserts to icy wastelands. You’ll also look at how the area has been linked to other parts of the world in the past including to Scandinavia, Canada and Russia, and discover how we’re trying to revive some of those connections.

Join us at one of our five upcoming free evening workshops to discover more about local geology and ancient connections.

No booking necessary and everyone is welcome – all events run 6.30pm – 9pm
